In 1985 Shawn at the age of 15 placed an ad in the Pennysaver in an effort to grow his pool business. Trying to run a route on a motorcycle and lack of business and technical knowledge things don’t go well. At 16 he applies to work for Tom and gains a lifetime mentor and trade.
